Bought three and placed them side-by-side for weeks. Temp readings are within a degree and close enough for me. Humidity percent readings within 4 units. Backsides are not flat so they are not suitable for hanging on a wall. Also may not be suitable for inside an instrument (guitar) case. Knew all that when I bought them so no complaint. But I took one apart one and I was disappointed that nothing inside is adjustable. The cost of a part or two should be minimal so I don’t understand why not.

We needed some small thermometers to gauge the fluctuation in room temperature throughout our house. I had a hard time finding just a thermometer that we could set on the window sill or a desk. Finally settled on this humidity/temperature device. It’s the right size and easy to read although the humidity numbers are larger than the temperature so we had to get used that. What has bothered us, however, the two, setting side by side, do not display the same temperature. Which is correct? So while they have been somewhat helpful we just have to wonder how accurate they are.

I am disappointed at the accuracy. I purchase two units and in a side by side comparison the humidity read 30% and 36%. The temperature was better, 71 and 70 degrees.

I curse the day I bought this thing.
Accuracy? Nope.
Well, close enough, so I keep it.
YOU HAVE TO GLUE THIS #$@&! THING DOWN or you will be constantly knocking it over and setting it up right.
A breeze, bump the table, or look at it wrong and it falls over. Grrrrrraaaaaaah!!!
I smashed mine. Now, I’m shopping for a replacement.

I have found this digital temperature/humidity indicator to be very accurate, and i am quite pleased with this product.

I bought two to keep in different areas but first I put them together in different spots within the house for comparison and ‘calibration.’ The humidity usually ranged within 1-2 steps of each other and never more than 3 from each other. Since I’m looking for 5% humidity ranges, that’s within my tolerance. Temp is usually the same or one off, never seen more than a two degree difference. Now one in bedroom and other in basement.
Temperature way off

I purchased this unit for the hygrometer, not the thermometer. However, when I first set up the unit the temperature seemed very low. I set it on my room thermostat, next to a third thermometer. This unit was consistently a minimum of six degrees lower than what the other two registered.
Humidity appears to be slightly off, maybe two or three percent. In my case that’s insignificant enough as not to be a problem.
UPDATE: Avoid this seller. When I contacted them to return the unit it took three attempts and a threat to notify Amazon before receiving return information. I followed their instructions for return, via FedEx, almost a month ago (28 days) and after contacting them twice requesting the status of receiving a new unit have heard nothing. Complaint filed with Amazon today.

The temperature reading is consistently a couple degrees higher than our other thermometer, but we got it for the hygrometer. Again, we only need a rough sense of whether our baby’s room is too dry, so the simplified scale below the reading is just fine. Not sure how accurate the humidity number is, but it seems close enough for our needs.
