    Failed within two years

The device was working fine (for my purposes) up until recently when it completely failed. Battery died and subsequently compartment got corroded (showed no signs of low battery or problems leading up to this point). Cleaned the contacts and inserted a new cell, no dice. DEAD. Wouldn’t purchase again. Device like this should last countless years.

    Cheap and functional

It works as described and has a nice little flip-out stand, but the LCD screen is awful. The LCD screen is very very dim unless viewed from the correct straight on angle. There is a long wire with an external probe that cannot be detached. I use this unit on my desk, so the wire is unnecessary. The indoor / outdoor temperatures seem to vary by ~0.8 degrees. For the low price of this unit, it gets the job done.

This product does exactly what it is designed to do. Seems to be right on.

    It’s ok for the price

I use the thermastat for the bedroom to make sure the room isn’t too cold at night. The temperature is pretty accurate but I can’t seem to know how to make the backlight work. There isn’t a button for the supposedly backlight to turn on. But other than that, it is an ok product to have if you will not need a light.

I Was told I would receive the item by the 14th of Oct. I ordered it on Oct, 4th it was not maild untill the 14th, I realy needed this item and should have gone out to buy one at a store. What a shame;I will never buy on amazon.com again.

    Good Luck, bye bye.

    Not very accurate

I recently bought this to measure the difference in temperature in various outdoor locations, I started by putting 3 of them in the exact location so they would start with the same temp and humidity level. Unfortunately, they never reached a point where they had the same reading. It’s good but not accurate.

    no backlight

Device reads temps ok, but buttons for backlight and changing all settings do not work at all. Since gives temp and I don’t need the backlight I will keep it, but it should work as advertised.

    Satisfied

For $10, it’s just what I was looking for. I tested the temperature reading against my other thermostat and it’s accurate. So happy to have this for my baby’s room so that I know that the humidifier is doing its job.

    Barely Functional

This product is not worth $10. Its temperature and humidity gauge is barely functional. The construction is shoddy, the backlight does not work, even with fully charged 1 AAA battery, the screen is only visible at 40-50% opacity, and sometimes is completely not visible unless you tilt it up and down and keep adjusting and maybe it’ll come back on. If they had priced it at $3.99 it would have been more worth it. I’m very disappointed.
